ActUp Theater is headed to New York! This summer’s artists will moonwalk their way into Broadway history with a trip to see MJ the Musical live on stage. From “Billie Jean” to “Thriller,” they’ll experience the songs, the moves, and the magic of the King of Pop like never before. Don’t stop till you get enough. Give your child a memory that will last forever!

ActUp Theater’s Arts Academy (ATAA) is back for Summer 2026—bigger, bolder, and ready to shake things up!
This year participants will have the opportunity to:
- Join an immersive learning experience
- Develop their talent with master teaching artists
- AND, go to New York City to see MJ the Musical on Broadway
For 4 weeks this summer (July 6th - July 30th), we’re turning up the heat and helping youth and teens sharpen their skills and explore their creativity.

PAID OPPORTUNITY W/ INTERVIEW — 14-18 YEARS OLD
The ActUp Fellows Program is back for Year 3! Fellows will train in dance, voice and diction, improv, drama (classic & modern), and musical theater—while working with a team that’s all about quality storytelling. You’ll level up your skills, learn the business of theater, and get paid while doing it!
We’re looking for creative, detail-oriented artists with a deep love for theater. If that’s you, let’s make magic happen.
SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAM — 8-13 YEARS OLD
The ATAA Summer Academy offers elementary and middle school students an immersive learning experience with top-tier artists and a squad of creative peers. They’ll dive into a high-energy experience that challenges them to think, move, and create like never before. This year participants will have the opportunity to:
- Develop their talent with master teaching artists
- AND, go to New York City to see HAMILTON on Broadway
