Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator Role will be responsible for the planning, outreach, and day-to-day management of the program. Duties include leading program staff and delegating tasks to achieve the goals of the program and ensure the safety of the program participants. Additional duties include monitoring program budgets, determining how to prioritize funds, and performing outreach duties to engage with the local community!

Assistant Program Coordinator

Assistant Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Program Coordinator and overseeing the successful planning and completion of educational programs of ActUp Theater Arts Academy.

Dance Instructor

Seeking a dynamic dance instructor that’s able to daily guide students to learn, create and enjoy dance! An instructor that is able to provide an inclusive community for individuals of any and all abilities to creatively challenge and express themselves through training and performances. Creating a class will focus on learning proper dance techniques such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns. 

Creative Writing Instructor

An instructor that is able to guide each participant to develop writing skills and produce a piece of writing. The instructor should have the ability to present complex material in a clear manner and work with students of varying levels of ability. Duties include engaging and excited students to find their voice; to learn as much as possible about how to write poetry, drama, fiction and journalistic pieces.

Vocal Instructor

As the vocal instructor, you will meet with students and prepare singing lessons according to their ability and experience. The Vocal Instructor should have experience working with novice and professional singers to improve pitch, tone, range, and song delivery. Ability and experience to assess student skills, strengths, and weaknesses, and then tailor lessons according to their needs and specifications.

Acting Instructor

We are seeking a dynamic Acting Instructor to train youth performers – typically film, theatre and musical theatre actors–and give them advice and mentoring to enable them to improve their acting and dramatic performances, prepare for auditions and prepare better for roles.
